1. Purpose

These terms and conditions govern the use of maramm.org, its members’ area and its forms. The website is published by the association MARAMM, Moroccan Association of Reliability, Asset, Facility & Maintenance Management, a non-profit association under Moroccan law, which presents its activities and initiatives there: training courses, masterclasses, publications, events and membership.

Using the website means accepting these terms. Some activities have their own arrangements (dates, places, contribution to costs, cancellation), set out on the activity page or at registration: within their scope, they take precedence over these terms. Membership and the life of the association are governed by its statutes and its internal rules (in French).

2. Access to the website

Browsing the website is open and free of charge. MARAMM strives to keep it available and up to date but cannot guarantee permanent availability: the association may change it, suspend it or close part of it, in particular for maintenance or security reasons.

3. Members’ area

Some resources are reserved for members or registered participants. By creating an account, you agree to provide accurate information, to keep your login details confidential and to report without delay any use of your account that is not yours. MARAMM may suspend an account used in breach of these terms or of the internal rules.

4. Activities and participation

MARAMM’s activities serve its purpose as an association. Where a contribution to costs is requested for a course or an event, its amount and conditions are stated before registration. Members’ subscriptions are set and governed by the internal rules.

5. Content and intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the content of the website (texts, analyses, images, logos, downloadable documents) belongs to MARAMM or is used with permission. You may quote short extracts, giving the source and a link to the original page. Any other reproduction or reuse, in particular commercial, requires the association’s prior written consent.

Where a document states its own licence, for example a Creative Commons licence, that licence applies to the document.

6. Responsible use

You agree to use the website lawfully and for its intended purpose. The following are prohibited in particular:

any action that harms the operation, security or availability of the website;
distributing malicious software or unlawful content;
collecting personal data about members or visitors, in particular for marketing purposes;
bypassing access restricted to members.

Indexing of the website by search engines and artificial intelligence services remains possible within the limits set by its robots.txt file.

7. Your contributions

Do not send us confidential information or an unprotected invention without prior agreement. If you send us a proposal, a comment or a contribution without a specific agreement, you remain its author and you allow MARAMM to use it free of charge for its activities as an association, crediting your name where possible and if you so wish.

8. Links to other websites

The website sometimes links to third-party websites, to source a piece of information or to guide the reader. MARAMM controls neither their content nor their practices, and a link does not imply endorsement.

9. Liability

The content of the website is published for general information. It is prepared with care and sourced, but it is neither legal advice nor advice tailored to a particular situation. MARAMM does not guarantee that it is free of errors or suited to your needs, and cannot be held liable for decisions taken on that basis alone.

These limits apply to the extent permitted by law and do not reduce any right that the law grants you on a mandatory basis.

If you spot an error, write to us: we correct it and show the date of the update.

10. Personal data

How your personal data is processed is described in the privacy policy, and the use of cookies in the cookie policy (both in French).

11. Accessibility

MARAMM wants its content to be accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. If part of the website is inaccessible to you, describe the difficulty to us: we will look for a solution or send you the content in another form.

12. Changes to these terms

MARAMM may update these terms. The version in force is the one published on this page, on the date shown at the top. Members are informed of significant changes by email. A previous version is available on request.

13. Language

These terms are written in French. The English and Arabic versions are provided to make them easier to read; in case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Moroccan law. If a difficulty arises, please write to us first at : we will look for an amicable solution. Failing that, the dispute falls within the jurisdiction of the courts of Rabat.

If you reside in a Member State of the European Union and act in a personal capacity, this choice does not deprive you of the protection granted by the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, nor of the right to bring proceedings before the courts where you are domiciled, where those rules apply.

If any clause of these terms were held void or unenforceable, the other clauses would remain in force.
